The Sumner Foundation was set up in 2019 to provide university grants to promising young students (either born or living in the United Kingdom) to enable them to continue with their education and achieve their full potential. 

More recently the charity has supported two international humanitarian programs:

• Technical Advisory & Training for NGO Security​ (Ukraine)

• Technical Advisory for Humanitarian Aid Security, Logistics and Distribution (Gaza)
